Podcasting

The Borderland Podcast Network is striving to be a voice that cuts through the noise. We are here for the un-churched as well as the churched. We are here for the deconstructionist as well as those seeking to understand those who are deconstructing. We are not afraid to get into the weeds of faith, life and the church. We desire to not only be heard but to give voice to those who have struggled to find a platform. On this network of creative and challenging podcasts we hope you will laugh, cry, and question everything!

We currently have 3 podcasts operating out of the Borderland Mission studio.

Not all thoughts, opinions or beliefs shared on these podcasts represent the thoughts, opinions or beliefs of Borderland Mission.

From the Borderland:

From the Borderland is the podcast of our weekly sermon, cut down to give you a quick recap of what was discussed. These are for everyone but a great addition to our regular members who missed a service or want to go back and hear something that moved them and helped bring them to a place of desiring more of God and less of themselves. These are also a great way to get an idea into what we at Borderland are hearing from our pastors and leaders each week. This podcast is recorded and produced by Thaddeus Sparkman.

Catacomb:

Catacomb podcast is hosted by our pastor Joshua Stump and Borderland Mission member Jay Newman. In this podcast Josh and Jay discuss spirituality and overcoming cynicism to a post-evangelical culture. Each podcast is a deep dive into Josh and Jays own cynicism and deconstruction to find solutions as opposed to just offering up arguments. Often they speak to guests with unique views and ideologies to bring to the table. Catacomb is always an interesting, challenging and often uplifting podcast to listen to, you can’t go wrong spending some time with Josh and Jay on a road trip or even just your morning commute. Catacomb podcast is attempting to turn cynicism into solutions while recognizing that the middle ground is the new underground. This podcast is recorded and produced by Thaddeus Sparkman.

I’m F*cked Up:

I’m F*cked Up is the newest podcast to our studio. IFU is a painfully honest podcast hosted by assistant pastor Josh Evans and Borderland Mission member and artist Alexx Arntzen. Each episode they will be bringing on a wide variety of guests to share their story. The goal of IFU is to hear stories of people who recognize their brokenness and are willing to go deeper and share what practical steps they are taking to find healing in the midst of their brokenness. You will be challenged to live a more honest life. This podcast is recorded and produced by Josh Evans, Alexx Arntzen and edited and made listenable by the hard work of the amazing Kelsey Arntzen.
